Here are 10 world records that can be attempted from the comfort of your own home. A mundane task by itself, but pair this with the possibility of breaking a world record? The task has now suddenly become fun. For example, most t-shirts folded in one minute. It also helps kill two birds with one stone, breaking world records, and completing house chores while doing it. Not only will you have fun, trying to best your co-workers in light-hearted competition, but you can also include your kids in the fun. We did some research, with the help of the Guinness World Records, and laid out 10 world records you can break at home. What are the easiest world records to break? And which of these are the easiest world records to break at home? With this in mind, we at ChairOffice wanted to repurpose a previous infographic we made, 12 World Records You Can Break In Your Lunch Hour, but with home-working in mind to help people take the edge off their stress levels and partake in a little mindless fun to help break up your day. People’s ability to have ‘microbreaks’ has been reduced, which negatively affects our mental health. While working from home has been positive for some people, others have found it hard to switch off from work and find themselves glued to the screen even more than if they were in the office. We believe it’s healthy to take a step back for a moment from the hustle and bustle of office politics, busy deadlines, and report writing and partake in something silly. ![]() Stress levels are on the rise with many people citing COVID-19 and national lockdowns as a primary cause. While it’s been important for us to take a serious approach to our new working lifestyle, from learning how to sit properly at a computer to finding the best ergonomic office chair that suits us, it’s also important that we refrain from working ourselves too hard. For the UK, we’re at an all-time high for people working from home and in April 2020, 46.6% of employment did at least some work from home. Many of us have been either forced to or encouraged to work from home in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
